There's going to be a busy by-election in St.Helier, with 10 candidates declaring that they want to join the States Assembly.
The election for a single seat has been called following the death of the former Deputy for district 3/4, Richard Rondel.
Election night is the 27th February, and voters in the district will have to make their choice from the 10 candidates who were proposed this evening.

They are joined by a group of candidates from last year's general election Inna Gardiner, Geraint Jennings, Anthony Lewis and Gordon Troy, alongside newcomers Andrea Mallet, John Baker, Francesca Ahier and Lyndsay Feltham.
