CRY Jersey is spreading a little love this Valentine's day by trying to raise money for their ‘Back to School’ Campaign.
The charity will be visiting offices in town offering workers Valentine themed sweet treats and asking for donations to their campaign that supports children around the world that do not have access to education.
Jane Allchin, CRY Jersey General Manager said: "We have so much, but even just the cost of a cake can provide the children CRY supports with a healthy meal at school, often their only meal, and future hope through their education. they are so excited to be able to go to school. Just a little can make a huge difference."
CRY Jersey will be visiting Alex Picot, Equiom, Dominion, RBS and the Fire Service through out the day armed donation buckets and Valentine themed cupcakes as well as banana loaves and fruit cake for the more health conscious workers.
The ‘Back to School’ campaign benefitting from the Valentines themed fundraiser supports child education in 25 countries across the world by buying school supplies, school uniforms, paying for teachers and in some cases even building schools.
