A former policeman has been remanded in custody after appearing in court on a charge of possessing indecent images of children.
Peter Philip Whitehouse (56) appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on Friday on the single count, and reserved his plea.
Mr Whitehouse retired from the police in 2009.
He was remanded in custody until 1 May.
