Police are seeking witnesses after a man in a balaclava attempted to rob a local supermarket last night – before being chased off by a customer.
The incident took place at Morrisons Daily on Queen’s Road around 18:40 on Friday (12 January).
"Whilst there he tried to steal money by threatening one of the cashiers and a customer who was being served," officers explained.
