If you fancy a dip before you tuck into your Christmas meal there are at least four organised sea swims tomorrow.
The most established of them is at Havre des Pas Swimming Pool at 11am. The Jersey Swimming Club have been organising the event since the early 1900s and regularly get more than two hundred hardy souls.
For those living in the west of the Island a better option might be at St Brelade's Bay. Again the dunk starts at 11:00. Or alternatively you could head for Quaisne, which starts at the slightly earlier time of 10.20. Both events are raising money for Jersey Hospice Care and the Jersey Animals’ Shelter.
Finally, up north at Greve de Lecq you can also wade into the waves at 11:00. Money raised at the event will be split between Jersey Cheshire Home and St Ouen’s Football Club.
The sea temperature's currently a balmy 11C.
