A driver has been arrested for drink driving, following a two-car collision that closed down St Clement’s coast road for two hours on Sunday lunchtime.
The crash, which took place around 10:20 at the Rue de Maupertuis junction, left both cars badly damaged, but no one was seriously hurt in the incident.
Fire fighters had to control the spread fuel and oil, which had leaked onto the road surface and into the drains.

Although one of the drivers has now been arrested, Police say that investigations are still ongoing.
