A woman was taken to hospital this morning following a single-vehicle accident in St. John.
The emergency services were called out at about 06:40 after a passing cyclist reported that a white Hyundai had crashed on Route des Issues.
The road was closed up to the junction with Rue des Courts Champs and traffic was diverted along Route du Mont Mado.
The car was towed and the road was clear by 09:40.
The condition of the motorist is not known.
