Drones brought in to search for missing man

Friday 29 September 2017

Jersey Police say they are using drones to search for a man who has been missing since Wednesday lunchtime.

Craig Griffin is described as being 54 years-old, wearing a black jacket, smart black trousers and smart black shoes, 5'8" tall and of medium build.

On Friday morning, Police said that they were concerned for his welfare and are using all the tools they have to look at areas where he might be - so far there are no definite locations.

Mr Griffin's partner, Carole Willoughby, has since issued a heartfelt appeal on social media.

She wrote: "My heart is breaking and this is a living nightmare. PLEASE share and share any information issued by the police on my partner Craig Griffin, including this post. I feel he is in an obscure place so not going to be easily found. My brain hurts trying to think where he could have gone so if anyone that knows him has ANY idea where he might have aimed for then please let me or the police know.

"Craig can walk for miles so he could be anywhere on the Island. I need him to walk back through our door safe and sound."

Anyone with any information on Mr Griffin's whereabouts should call the Police on 612612.
