With less than a week to go until election day, voters in St. Clement are making up their minds which two of the five candidates they will back for Deputy.
There are two places available, with one guaranteed to be a 'new' face in the States, since sitting Deputy Simon Brée is standing for Senator.
The other sitting Deputy hoping to be re-elected is Social Security Minister Susie Pinel. She’s facing opposition from two independents – Lindsay Ash, and Philip Renouf – and Reform party candidates Samantha Morrison, and Cloe Freeman.
All parishioners in St. Clement – like parishioners across the island – will also have the opportunity to choose up to eight senators from a list of 17 candidates.
Voting takes place at the parish hall on Wednesday 16 May.
Bailiwick Express would like to thank the students of Highlands College Media Department who helped film some of these election videos.
Monday: The Senators.
