The number of deputies a parish or district has is based on the size of its electoral roll.
St. Helier No 3 and 4 return more Deputies than any other district, or single-district parish.

Because only two of the district’s current Deputies – Richard Rondel and Mike Higgins – are seeking re-election (Deputies Jackie Hilton and Andrew Lewis decided not to seek another term), there are going to be at least two ‘new’ States members.
The current incumbents are being challenged by three Reform candidates – Anne Southern, Mary Ayling-Philip, and Julian Rogers – and five independents, Jacqui Carrel, Mary Le Hegarat, Inna Gardiner, Guy de Faye, and Steve Ahier.
All parishioners in St. Helier no matter what district they live in – like parishioners across the island – will also have the opportunity to choose up to eight senators from a list of 17 candidates. But where parishioners vote depends on the district in which they live.
Parishioners living in No 3 vote at Rouge Bouillon School, and those in No 4 vote at First Tower School. Election day is Wednesday 16 May.
