Few days left to snap up Big Weekend tickets

Islanders have just a few days left to bid for tickets to a range of venues and activities, as part of Visit Jersey's Big Weekend.

The initiative, which is sponsored by JT, takes place on 24th and 25th April 2021 and over 45 Jersey attractions have donated tickets and activities to the event, including Jersey Heritage, Jersey Zoo, La Mare Wine Estate, Jersey Adventures, Voisins, Bouley Bay Dive Centre, Jersey Walk and Kayak Adventures.

Local residents have until midnight on the 5^th April to visit www.jerseybigweekend.co.uk and bid for any of the hundreds of tickets up for grabs.

Organised by Visit Jersey,  the event is designed to encourage islanders to rediscover their island.

They can bid for available tickets to as many attractions as they wish. Two tickets per household will be allocated by ballot after 5^th April.

“In partnership with industry, we are proud to be promoting the 2021 Jersey Big Weekend. It is a fantastic way to kick-start the tourist season, but it’s also a great way to reward Jersey’s residents with a great day out, for free – especially after the challenges of the last year. Jersey Big Weekend which has been sponsored by JT will inspire islanders to discover everything the island has to offer year-round.” 

“It really is as good as it sounds – every islander over the age of 18 can bid for free tickets at www.jerseybigweekend.co.uk until the 5^th of April. The winners are selected by ballot so there’s plenty of reasons to bid for as many different attractions and activities as possible. You never know what you might win, and how much fun you could be having on 24^th and 25^th April!
