Hundreds of people trying to get to and from Jersey have been plagued by delays and cancellations for a second day because of foggy conditions in the Channel Islands.
The disruption to travel plans comes as many are trying to return home from the half-term getaway, but it's also had a big impact on the island's official list of events, with multiple court sittings and a planning inquiry being cancelled today.
Apologies - the opening of today’s Tamba Park planning inquiry https://t.co/3lFzZj4Bi5 is delayed. The inspector's travel plans have been affected by today’s fog. We’ll keep you posted on a new start date/time

Both the 08:25 Birmingham and 08:30 Exeter/Guernsey Flybe flights arriving into Jersey this morning have been cancelled, which has led to a knock-on effect on those flights out of Jersey. Many other flights scheduled this morning have also been delayed due to the weather.
Jersey Airport is warning passengers to check-in on time as planned. They add: “If your flight is cancelled then please contact your airline for alternative travel options, either by telephone or online via the 'Manage my Booking' section.
“As you will appreciate we are experiencing a high volume of calls at our customer relations desk. Our team can only update flight status as and when we receive information from the airlines and/or their appointed ground agent. For specific questions relating to your travel plans you must contact the airline directly.”
Jersey Met have forecast that the fog will slowly lift this afternoon. Those trying to travel today can check their flight status at jerseyairport.com.
The travel disruptions come a few days after Jersey Airport reported a positive start to air passenger figures this year with almost 2,000 more travelling through the airport in January 2018 than at the same period in 2017 and 2016.
