Islanders wanting to get a covid vaccination are being urged to go to Les Quennevais Sports Centre instead, while the Fort is closed following the major explosion on Pier Road.
Early on Saturday morning, one of the Haut du Mont blocks of flats collapsed following what is suspected to have been a gas explosion, leading to the deaths of at least five islanders, with four more confirmed to be missing.
The Fort has been closed ever since, including the island's covid vaccination centre.
This morning, the government said that anyone with an appointment could go to a clinic at Les Quennevais Sports Centre instead, at one of these times:
The access roads to the Fort are currently closed until further notice.
Work is still underway to move the cordon & open these roads and an update will be given later this afternoon or this evening (Tuesday, 13 December).

Until that time, they can't be accessed, and Islanders are advised to avoid the area to reduce the workload of those at the scene pic.twitter.com/mQzdw4u3cX
