More than £20,000 was raised in less than 24 hours to support a local family following the "devastating" and "unimaginable" death of their "radiant" two-year-old daughter while on holiday in Turkey.
Set up by friend Taylor Kearns, the fundraiser has been supported by nearly 1,300 people since its launch on Thursday evening. The total has now surpassed £36,000.
The money will be used to "support Laura Carolan, Ryan Sutcliffe, Karis and their family as they navigate the devastating loss of their beloved two-year-old child, Isla, whilst on a family holiday in Turkey".
"The last thing we want is for them to worry about financial matters while grieving," wrote organiser Taylor on the GoFundMe page.
"Every donation, no matter the size, will go a long way in helping them honour Isla’s memory and give her a dignified farewell."

Isla passed away after falling ill whilst on a family holiday in Turkey.
What was initially diagnosed as tonsillitis sadly turned out to be appendicitis and sepsis, and the two-year-old's appendix ruptured.
Her family are set to return to Jersey in the next week.
"Isla brought so much joy and laughter into the lives of those who knew her," added Taylor.
"Her radiant smile and infectious spirit will forever be etched in our hearts.
"While we cannot ease the emotional burden, we can help alleviate some of the financial stress that comes with such an unexpected loss."
