More than 40,000 people visited this year's Jersey International Motoring Festival, which saw its largest ever entry of Sprint and Hillclimb vehicles.

The Rubis Jersey international Motoring Festival kicked off Thursday 1 June and began with a rolling roadshow featuring a host of local vehicles, alongside the 1982 Alfa Romeo Formula 1 car.

The festival's competitive racing saw the largest entry ever with over 250 competitors taking part in the Friday night Moonlight sprint and the weekend's Westmount Hillclimbs, with a number of competitors visiting from the UK.

Visitors also had the chance to see static displays from local clubs and over 100 vehicles visiting the island – all alongside food, music and other family-friendly activities.

Alex Salmon from the JIMF Organising team said: "The event has been absolutely buzzing all weekend.

"With the support of sponsors like Rubis Channel Islands and Jersey Development Company along with the hard work and long hours from all the team we’ve been able to put on one of the biggest events the island has ever seen free of charge to the public!"

The Jersey International Motoring Festival will return next year on the 30 May to 2 June 2024.
