Preloved pop-up returns for late night shopping

Thursday 02 December 2021

Islanders can lend a helping second-hand to Jersey Hospice tonight by nabbing designer and luxury labels at a bargain price.

Santa Claus isn't the only one coming to town, with the charity's 'Preloved to Reloved' pop-up boutique back this evening for late night shopping at the Hospice Town Shop.

Julie Jubb, Retail Manager, said: "Over the past few years our Preloved to Reloved range has grown a loyal supporter base and I'm really excited about opening the pop-up shop on Thursday. We've got a fantastic selection of great value for money ladies clothes, shoes and accessories, which I'm sure our customers will be delighted with.

"We will be transforming our Town Shop on Union Street into a designer pop-up boutique and to add some Christmas sparkle we'll be offering a complimentary glass of Prosecco to all our shoppers. If you like your designer clothes and haven't visited one of our pop-up shops before, please come and say hello and see what bargain you might find.

"We're so grateful to those who support us by donating designer clothes they no longer need or use. All profits from these donations go towards the provision of our hospice services, and every penny counts. It costs nearly £20,000 per day to run our services and we couldn't do what we do without the generous support of islanders."

The shop will be open at the Town Shop on Union Street from 17:00 to 19:00 tonight.
