“The Awakening Club Wellness and Fitness Festival has been a natural progression from our mini festivals in the Havana and Fort Regent when we first launched in 2017,” explained event organiser Laura Rosser.

“There has been a huge movement for wellness and fitness over the past few years and we are very excited to bring something new to Jersey!”

The festival will include a stage with celebrity fitness and live podcasts, as well as number of workshops, from fitness, to meditation and mindfulness, creativity. Healthy food, boutique shopping and children’s activities will also be on offer.

The Awakening Club Rave Fitness Class and DJs will also be on deck to dish out chilled tunes throughout the day.

Ms Rosser said the festival will be the occasion to “showcase the different fitness instruction, healthy food businesses and the best of our local yoga teachers giving taster sessions throughout the day.”

The one-day event will take place at Milbrook Part, which Mrs Rosser described as the perfect location with “beautiful grounds and the ultimate sea view.”

The event organiser is hoping that around 3,000 people will attend the inaugural event and that the festival will grow in the future.

Tickets will go on sale at the end of October and a portion of the proceeds will go to mental health charity Mind.
