Tributes have been paid to a 57-year-old Jerseyman who died while on a skiing holiday with his family in the French Alps.
It’s thought Trinity resident Mark Le Sueur, known to many as Frank, was skiing with a friend off-piste in the Solaise area of Val d'Isère, when he crashed.
The accident happened on Thursday.
It is claimed Mr Le Sueur, who was the son of the former St John Constable John Le Sueur, was treated on the mountain but later died of a heart attack whilst being airlifted to hospital.
A spokesman for the family says they won’t be making any further comments at this time.
The UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office have issued a statement: “We are in contact with local authorities following the death of a British man in Val d'Isère, France on 23 February. We are ready to provide support to his family.”
Meanwhile, Islanders have been leaving messages of condolence for Mr Le Sueur's family on Facebook:
