Jersey Archive are appealing to islanders for their votes after being nominated for the nation’s ‘Record Keeping Service of the Year’.
The team at Jersey Archive have been nominated for an Archives and Records Association (ARA) Excellence Award 2023.
In their bid to win 'Record Keeping Service of the Year', they are asking the public to show their support by voting for them before 14 July here.
Linda Romeril, Director of Archives and Collections at Jersey Heritage, said she was "incredibly proud" of her entire team at Jersey Archive.
"They would be worthy recipients of this national award, especially in the year that we celebrate 30 years since the Archive first opened," she added.
"We'd love to receive Islanders' support and would like to ask everyone to please go online and cast their vote for Jersey Archive to win 'Record Keeping Service of the Year'."
The ARA awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of record keeping professionals and their contribution to society.
As well as Record Keeping Service of the Year, they include the Distinguished Service Award; Record Keeper of the Year; and New Professional of the Year.
Islanders can cast their votes here. Public voting for the awards closes on 14 July 2023.
