A Jersey charity is on the hunt for a little person who isn’t short of talent, and who could be the Island’s next big thing.
Centre Point Trust is looking for a youngster with star quality for its Jersey’s Kids Got Talent competition which has been organised to help it celebrate 30 years of childcare.
Anyone aged six to 16 who thinks they can wow judges at next month’s auditions either singing or dancing, playing a musical instrument, making people laugh, training a pet or with some other talent, can apply and they could win a trip for four to Disneyland Paris.
Each competitor will get three minutes in the limelight at next month’s auditions taking place between Saturday 7 and 14 June.
Applications can be found at www.centrepointtrust.co.uk/appform and must be in by this Friday 16 May.
The live final is at the Hotel de France on Saturday 4 October. The charity hopes the event will be a great success and it will become its annual fundraiser.
Centre Point Trust is the Island's biggest child care provider for working parents and operates from three facilities: the day nursery at Rope Walk and a sessional morning nursery and school age care group, both at La Pouquelaye.
