Islanders are being invited to celebrate the King's official birthday in the grounds of Government House.
The reception, which will feature music, a gun salute and a marching display, is open to everyone – no formal invitation required.
The event is expected to last from 19:00 to 20:30 on Friday 16 June, rain or shine.
The invitation, extended by Lieutenant Governor Vice-Admiral Jerry Kyd and his wife Dr Karen Kyd, describes it as a "colourful event". The dress code is smart casual and "decorations may be worn".
