Fire crews have been praised for their efforts after a stretched night tackling several fires across the island - including a "large" blaze on the headland near La Tourelle.
Two fire engines and a water carrier were sent to the area after 999 calls were received around 20:37.
However, due to the fire's "significant size and remote location", this was soon increased to four engines and two water carriers, and the Jersey Fire and Rescue Service's duty manager was also sent to the area.
"The fire was quickly surrounded and the response reduced to assist with maintaining island cover," the crew reported.
But it wasn't the only incident firefighters had to deal with.
"During this time we also received calls for a smell of burning in St.Helier, La Pulente, an area near La Haule, and Clos De Sables. These incidents were dealt with by our Western and Town On Call teams, highlighting the important role they play in keeping the island safe."
Scores of islanders have since shared praise for the crew on social media.

"Well done and thank you to everyone concerned, our island is so fortunate to have such an amazing Fire and Rescue Service," said Jenny Sheehan.
"Well done team - stretched!" George Lloyd said.
"Cracking job guys, you were really put under pressure," Damian Smail commented.
"Thank you for responding so quickly to them all, so appreciated," Jo Brown added.
