Les Quennevais School will be closed today and Friday after heavy rain caused "significant damage" to the roof.
Jersey Property Holdings are currently working on the building to carry out urgent repairs and the Education Department hopes the school will be open on Monday.
A statement from Education said: "Following the rain last night and today water has come in through the roof and caused significant damage. Large areas are out of use and the school is therefore not able to operate as normal. In order to ensure the students remain safe and the repairs can be carried out quickly, it is necessary to close the school."
"JPH will be working on the building and we aim to have it open again by Monday. In the meantime, we apologise to parents for the inconvenience caused."
Bands of rain have been affecting the Island since Tuesday causing several collisions on the roads, including one where a vehicle ended up on its side.
