Students sweating on A-level results - here's some advice

Wednesday 17 August 2016

Today’s the day hundreds of students have been awaiting with a mixture of trepidation and expectation – A-level results day.

For most students the outcome dictates their future – certainly in the short-term. But, Jersey’s Education Department says if you don’t get the results you need, don’t panic.

Schools, Highlands College, Advance to Work and Careers Jersey are all available to help.

Careers Jersey is open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm throughout the summer holiday period to assist students looking for alternative courses and universities, those taking an unexpected gap year, as well as those considering employment instead of further education.

Careers Jersey is situated at Philip Le Feuvre House, La Motte Street (entrance via the Department of Social Security) and can be contacted on 449440.

Last year Jersey's overall A-Level pass rate was 99%, with 30.3% of students attaining A or A* grades.
