A Jersey lifeboat crew were forced to miss the start of the Women's World Cup final after being called out to what ended up being a four-hour shout that saw them circumnavigate the island.
The alarm was raised for the RNLI's all-weather crew just after 07:20.
A 10-metre yacht had lost power off the north coast between the Paternosters and Dirouilles reefs.
The lifeboat travelled around the west of the island, before establishing a tow line and returning via the east to take advantage of the incoming tide.
