The holiday season was far from quiet at the Maternity Unit as two baby boys picked Christmas Day to make their entrance into the world.
One of them, little Hugo, gave a new meaning to the expression 'like mother, like son' when he was born on 25 December, Christmas Day and his mum's birthday.
Making his arrival at 14:29, weighing in at 6 lb 8 oz (2,945 grams), Hugo gave Bethany Alderson and her family a third reason to celebrate.
Hugo was the second baby to be born this day, following Arthur Le Moignan who had decided to join the party in time for lunch, arriving at 10:04.
