Local mums and their newborn babies are invited to attend new weekly breastfeeding clinics.
The sessions take place at The Bridge in St Saviour every Thursday evening and are aimed at those with babies aged up to 28 days.
The clinic will take place between 16:00 and 19:00, and appointments can be made by calling 449139.
The first session began this week, and the Health Department has indicated that the clinic may be run twice a week if it proves popular.
There are also plans to offer further antenatal breast feeding support services later in the spring.
