A 26-year-old has admitted a grave and criminal assault, as well as damaging his victim’s coat.
Hugo Filipe Gouveia Alves (26) pleaded guilty to the attack on 16 February this year during a Royal Court hearing on Friday afternoon.
He also admitted one count of malicious damage, having damaged his victim's coat on the same date.
Alves was represented by Advocate Michael Haines, who informed the Court of his client’s ‘guilty’ pleas.

The matter has been adjourned until a further Court hearing in July.
