A 46-year-old man accused of attacking a woman and damaging a chair is to face a Royal Court trial next year.
Philip Steven Goguelin appeared before Lieutenant Bailiff Anthony Olsen in the Royal Court on Friday.
He denied committing a grave and criminal assault at a property in St. Helier between 19 and 22 September this year and maliciously damaging a chair at the same time and place.
He will next appear in court on 25 January ahead of a trial scheduled for 6 April.
Mr Goguelin was remanded in custody in the meantime.
