A 35-year-old man has been accused of fraudulently obtaining goods from various garages around the island by pretending that he was authorised to use a Rubis fuel card belonging to someone else.
Shaun Michael Weller appeared in the Royal Court before Deputy Bailiff Robert MacRae on Friday.
The Crown claims that he committed offences of 'obtaining goods by false pretences' in the first half of last year.
A three-day trial has been scheduled for 31 August.
Mr Weller was remanded in custody until 13 April when a pre-trial hearing will take take place.
