A 36-year-old man has admitted one charge of common assault on a woman dating back to last summer.
Przemyslaw Dominik Czarnecki appeared before Royal Court on Friday via video link.
It followed an incident that took place on, or around, 4 August last year at a property in St. Helier.
On Friday, Czarnecki’s lawyer, Advocate Giles Emmanuel, entered a guilty plea on his behalf to the charge of common assault, which was accepted by the prosecution.
Czarnecki will be sentenced on 4 August. This will also include a charge for importation of a controlled drug which he had previously admitted.
In the meantime, he remains in custody at HMP La Moye.
