Man admits indecent assaults and attempt to pervert course of justice

Sunday 27 January 2019

A 34-year-old man, who asked his wife to delete material from his Cloud account relating to an online group about a 'Woman's true place,' has admitted one count of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Nathan Thomas John Jordan, of Leicester, has also admitted two indecent assaults on two separate victims.

The first assault took place between June and August 2010 in Grouville. The second one took place between October 2011 and August 2012 in St. Helier.

In both cases, Jordan admitted forcing himself into the victim's mouth.

The 34-year-old man, who is defended by Advocate Giles Emmanuel, admitted that on 2 April 2018 he incited his wife to delete material he had saved in his Cloud account from the Yahoo group 'Woman's True Place.'

Jordan will be sentenced on 4 April in Royal Court. His sentence will be decided by the Superior Number, a panel who hear the more serious of cases where sentences of more than four years can be imposed.
