Man admits stealing £600 worth of items from town flat

Sunday 04 October 2020

A 24-year-old man has admitted breaking into a St. Helier flat in July before stealing £600 worth of items, including a games console and bottles of alcohol.

Craig Clayton Livesey appeared in Royal Court on Friday where he entered a guilty plea to breaking and entry, and larceny.

The offence is believed to have taken place between 14 July and 17 July in a flat on Midvale Road.

Livesey criminally broke into the property and stole a games console, games, £25 in cash and bottles of alcohol, all of which was valued to around £600.

His lawyer, Advocate Allana Binnie, made a bail application but it was rejected by the Court. As a result, Livesey has been remanded in custody until his sentencing, which will take place on 11 December 2020.

The Court has ordered for psychiatric and social enquiry reports to be produced.
