A 38-year-old has admitted having unlawful sex with a teenage girl in People’s Park and indecently assaulting her in a separate incident in the early 2000s.
Justin James Samson will be sentenced before Royal Court on 16 October after he admitted the offences, which took place on separate occasions.
His guilty pleas were entered on a basis which the prosecution has accepted.
As a result of his guilty pleas, he was added to the Sex Offenders’ Register at the end of July.

Samson has also admitted driving without a licence and whilst uninsured in May 2020.
He appeared before Lieutenant Bailiff Anthony Olsen as well as Jurats Kim Averty and Jerry Ramsden on Friday.
His defence lawyer, Advocate James Bell, requested that a psychological report be produced along with a background report from the probation service.
Samson will remain in custody until his sentencing date.
