Police have arrested a 55-year-old man in connection with "grossly offensive" comments made on social media regarding former refugees visiting the Island.
The man, who at present remains anonymous, is alleged to have breached the Telecommunications Law.
He will appear at a Parish Hall enquiry in the coming weeks.
