A 19-year-old man has been charged with grave and criminal assault following an alleged incident at Lilly’s Mini Market earlier this week.

Joseph Ross Jordan from Glasgow was arrested following the alleged assault on Thursday evening.

He is due to appear in the Magistrate's Court on Monday.

Police are still seeking information regarding one of the men in an appeal issued yesterday.

He is pictured wearing a green t-shirt and black shorts.

Police said that the alleged incident started inside Lilly’s Mini Market on La Motte Street and continued on the pavement immediately outside at around 22:30 on Thursday evening.

The force also said they were aware of phone camera footage being shared on social media, and would also like to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or other video footage in the area of La Motte Street at the relevant time.
