A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a night-time burglary in which thousands of pounds of electricals were stolen from a home while the family were sleeping.
The break-in occurred earlier this week, and saw the perpetrator make off with two Fender guitars, an expensive laptop and two professional cameras from the Gorey Village property.
They later stole the keys to the householders’ blue Nissan Micra, before dumping it in the sea by Ouaisne.
Police say they arrested the 48-year-old on suspicion of break and entry and taking and driving away a motor vehicle.
Officers are continuing searches at the man’s property.
