Tuesday 16 July 2019

Police are hunting a grey-haired man alleged to have pushed and held a 13-year-old boy, who was taking part in a school walk, up against a wall.

Police said the alleged assault happened at 13:30 on Friday 12 July at the sea wall by the toilets at West Park.

The man was reportedly responding to actions by the teenager, who was left "uninjured by the alleged assault but left upset by it", according to Police.

The alleged perpetrator was then said to have "jogged off" in the direction of St. Aubin.

Anyone who saw what happened or knows more is asked to contact Police on 612612 or make an anonymous report on the Crimestoppers website.
