Islanders are being asked to help identify a man caught on camera breaking into a car park and taking items from a vehicle, before trying to set fire to a CCTV camera on his way out.
The incident took place on Don Road in the early hours of 2 May, and was reported on 5 May to Police officers, who confirmed that a bluetooth speaker was among the nabbed items.
While Police are investigating, property management firm Columbia Estates – which looks after the car park – has also made its own appeal for information.
Posting on Facebook last night, they offered a £250 reward for anyone who can name the perpetrator.
The post has since been shared more than 450 times. No arrests have been made yet.
