A 30-year-old man has appeared in court, charged with two counts of inciting or causing a sexual act with a male child under the age of 12.
Scott Peter Graham Le Corre was charged last night in relation to the alleged sexual offences and remained in custody overnight.
He appeared in the Magistrate's Court this morning at 09:30.
Assistant Magistrate David Le Cornu, presiding, decided that the case was too serious to be dealt with in the Magistrate's Court.
Mr Le Corre was subsequently remanded in custody until 25 June, when his case will be formally committed to the Royal Court.
