A 38-year-old man has been charged with four counts of theft, and one of embezzlement, after its alleged he stole a £11,000 vehicle, and £21,700 in relation to other vehicles, from two garages where he worked.

Lee David Arnold pleaded guilty to the offences, and will be sentenced by the Royal Court next month.

The court heard that the offences were committed between May 2016 and March 2017.

It's alleged he stole a blue Honda CVR, worth £11,000, from Motormall while he was employed by Jackson's CI Limited. He is also accused of having embezzled a Peugeot 106, worth £400, as well as having stolen £4,800 from the company. Those offences took place over the course of three months, between 4 May 2016 and 16 July 2016.

While he was employed by Freelance (CI) Limited, Mr Arnold is accused of having stolen £4,500, in relation to a Triumph Stag vehicle and a further £12,000 in relation to a Porsche 911.

He pleaded guilty to all counts and has been remanded in custody until his sentencing on 25 August.
