Friday 12 April 2024

A man accused of causing the deaths of a father and son by dangerous driving is due to face a trial later this year.

Dean Lowe (48) and his 11-year-old son Charlie died on Rue de Fauvic in Grouville on 5 August 2023.

Appearing in the Royal Court this morning, Dylan Pounds pleaded not guilty to two counts of causing death by dangerous driving.

He also denied one count of dangerous driving.

A trial has been scheduled for October 2024 and is expected to last eight days.

Mr Pounds was remanded in custody until his next appearance.

The Bailiff, Sir Timothy Le Cocq, was presiding.
