Man in 30s faces trial over alleged Colomberie break-in

A 34-year-old man accused of breaking into a town premises in an alleged theft attempt will face a Royal Court trial next year.

Kevan John Falle will have to answer one charge of "illegal entry with intent to steal" in five months' time.

The alleged offence is said to have occurred on 13 May in the area of La Colomberie.

Represented by Advocate Alison Brown, Mr Falle pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Crown Advocate Matthew Maletroit therefore asked the Royal Court to set dates for a jury trial. It is planned to last two days, starting on 13 February.

Mr Falle will appear in court on 29 October for a plea and directions hearing.

He has been remanded in custody until his trial.
