To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the United Grand Lodge - the governing body of Freemasonry in the British Isles - the Freemasons are hosting open days at their Masonic Temple in town.
The temple in Stopford Road will be open to the public from 10:00 until 16:00 today and tomorrow.
The Freemasons of Jersey have urged islanders that these open days are for everyone, inviting the public to bring friends and family to admire the recently refurbished building and learn its history.
Throughout each day Jersey Masons will give talks about the history of Freemasonry in Jersey and it members, some wearing traditional regalia, will be on hand to assist visitors and answer their questions.
Tea and coffee will be available and there will also a special display of artefacts from the Freemasons' library and museum - including many from when the temple was sacked during the Occupation of the island.
