Meet the candidates: Stevie Ocean

In his online manifesto singer and entertainer Stevie Ocean starts by saying "I am honoured to have been nominated and to have the support of the Stevie Ocean Fan Club (Official) who are crowd funding my campaign from their own pockets."

He goes on to say "I will make a genuine difference. I make you no promise other than that your goals will be my goals, my concerns, your concerns. We must always remember what is truly important; a good quality of family life for everyone."

But, the rest of the manifesto throws little light on the man behind the prospective politician. That's where Bailiwick's meet the candidates comes into its own. Here's your chance to find out more about Stevie.

What one thing would you do to improve life in Jersey?

I have plenty of ideas, but the main one would be special long week rates from Friday-Sunday.

I have a very special smoked salmon pizza with all sort of seafood. Awesome.

What’s your favourite pizza topping?

Garlic.

What’s your favourite drink?

I enjoy Baileys in coffee.

What’s your favourite song?

Well I have several but the one I’m known for is My Way.

What’s your favourite book?

The original Jaws, nothing like the film.

What’s your favourite film?

Titanic.

If you were an animal what would you be?

A panther.

Who would you like to be stuck in a lift with, and why?

Who would you hate to be stuck in a lift with, and why?

Piers Morgan. He hates me too and I would maybe lose my cool with him.

Who would you vote for in this election if you couldn’t vote for yourself?

Sarah Ferguson.
