Two men have been arrested after being found in possession of hundreds of ecstasy tablets marked ‘FC Barcelona’.
Police detained a 39-year-old and 44-year-old on Thursday afternoon after recovering what they suspected to be a “commercial amount” of MDMA tablets as part of an ongoing drugs operation.
380 tablets, which were marked with a Barcelona Football Club crest, were seized in total.

The men have since been questioned, and released on bail while the investigation continues.
The news comes following the ectasy-related death of an 18-year-old boy earlier this month. He died after taking a quantity of IKEA-brand ecstasy tablets.
