Two men in their 20s have been arrested after an alleged early-hours group brawl in town left some individuals needing hospital treatment.
Police said that the reported fight took place between two women and four men in New Cut, between Coffee Republic and Rivoli jewellers, around 02:15 on Sunday (20 March).
In an appeal for more information, officers explained: "Some of those involved sustained injuries which required hospital treatment.
"All those involved were wearing black or dark colours, one of the women had blonde hair and the other woman had dark hair.
"Two men in their 20s were arrested on suspicion of common assault and have since been released on bail, whilst enquiries continue."
