Deputy Rob Duhamel has been ousted from the States. The Environment Minister, and so called 'father of the house', polled 630 votes in St Saviour number one district, just 26 behind Peter Mclinton in second place.
Sitting Deputy Jeremy Macon topped the poll though, polling 780 votes. Deputy Duhamel is the first major casualty of the night, ending a political career going back twenty one years.
