The teenage motorcyclist killed in Friday’s crash outside St Saviour’s Hospital has been named as Nathan Vibert.
Nathan, who was 19, was riding on a motorcycle that is thought to have hit a grey Land Rover outside the entrance to the hospital site at around 4.30 pm.
His parents have released a photograph of him, and they are being supporting by dedicated family liaison officers from the States of Jersey Police.
Floral tributes to Nathan have already been left at the scene.
Police have confirmed that no one has been arrested in connection with the crash, but that the driver of a car involved - a 45-year old woman who had been driving a grey Land Rover Freelander - was treated at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses who saw the accident, or who saw the vehicles before it took place.
Anyone with any information has been asked to contact the police on 612612 or on the anonymous Crimestoppers number 0800 555111.
