A classic scooter rider in his 40s suffered a broken arm and several vehicles were damaged in a crash on Victoria Avenue that followed a car driving the wrong way up the road.
The collision happened yesterday (Sunday 4 August) morning around 11:45 on the road's westbound carriageway by the first lay-by.
Police said a light-coloured Renault was involved, and was seen "driving on the wrong side of Victoria Avenue at West Park."
Three vehicles were damaged in the crash: a green classic scooter, a purple classic scooter, and a black Mitsubishi car.

One of the classic scooter riders - a 42-year-old man - suffered a broken arm in the collision, and was taken to A&E for treatment.
Police added that no one has been arrested yet, but are urging islanders to come forward with more information as their investigations continue.
They have spoken to several witnesses already, but would particularly like to hear from those with dash cam or other video footage.
